Cristo Rei Mining owns one of the world’s largest and highest quality silica sand deposits in the world with over 1.5 billion tons in one location. A 2015 JORC Report delivered by SRK Consulting has verified the Cristo Rei silica to be of the highest international quality which is sought after as both a water filtration medium and as proppant.
Cristo Rei is lead by a team of global experts in sand production from Canada, Australia and Brazil. Together, this team of highly experienced mining and engineering professionals have developed and managed some of the most successful sand and mining projects internationally.
Cristo Rei is fully permitted and approved by Brazilian Federal, State and local authorities to the highest ESG global standards. Cristo Rei meets the highest environmental global standards by utilising reticulated water, hydro-electric power, no chemicals in our processing, and by producing no waste products.
Currently supplying international ESG projects from wind farms through to green tech construction. We are also proud to supply our high quality silica to Brazilian State and private water filtration plants to improve the quality of fresh drinking water for the people of Brazil. Through our network of in-country distributors, Cristo Rei is now also recognised as a supplier of high quality bagged sand for both the retail and well-sand market.
